VMworld 2012 – So close but not close enough.
8th October 2012Well I nearly fulfilled my dream of attending VMworld this year, arriving into the office I discovered that one of the attendees had called in sick and I was being asked if I was able to go (I carry my passport with me so could leave there and then 
) but decided to wait and see if the hotel and event reservations could be swapped over.
All I can say is a big thanks to VMware for bending over backwards in accommodating a change in attendee at this late stage, not so much a big thanks but a disgruntled growl to the hotel who were totally un-prepared to allow for a change in guest thereby scuppering my chance of going to VMworld 2012.
Disappointed doesn’t even come close
